Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer at our Mystic South Conference! Volunteers definitely are the unsung heroes of the event. They help ensure everyone gets where they need to be, and assist our Board in making sure the event is a success!
Please pick the amount of work shift you can commit to for the conference from the options below. As a reminder, Volunteers must show up for their work shifts on time and ready to work. Check-in will be in the green room (end of the hallway on the main floor). Missing a shift or not adhering to the rules and code of conduct can result in being removed from the volunteer list and being asked to pay the full conference admission price, or being removed from the conference.
Keep in mind that volunteering is a serious job. Our conference could not exist without our group of volunteers. Volunteers are considered part of the security team, are handled as such. In other words, please keep in mind that volunteering is a serious position before you sign up. If you cannot commit to the level of commitment that will be required, please do not sign up to be a volunteer.
Volunteer hours may be spent doing some of the following (though duties may not be limited to these tasks):
- Assisting at Registration – checking in new arrivals, answering questions, etc
- Assisting with Security – ensuring only registered attendees are accessing conference areas, reporting any incidents to security head, etc.
- Other tasks as needed
NOTE: Each individual must enter their own Volunteer registration. Limit one reservation per person.
As a volunteer, our coordinator will reach out via Email to work with you regarding the scheduling for your shifts.
