Hotel FAQ

Here is our first, basic, list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for our new hotel. We are excited to welcome everyone to the new venue. Not only will we be the only event at the hotel, we will be making use of all its functional space.

  • Where is the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Dunwoody?
    The hotel is located just south of the perimeter (I-285) in Dunwoody, Georgia. It is located off Exit 30, Chamblee-Dunwoody Road. Is is only one exit east of our former hotel, the Crowne Plaza Ravinia.

  • Why does this hotel have such a long name?
    We have no idea. They do have cookies, though.

  • Does the hotel have a shuttle?
    The DoubleTree does have a shuttle that will take you anywhere within five miles of the hotel. This includes two MARTA stations and the Perimeter Mall area where the Crowne Plaza is located.

    For out-of-town attendees who love to get out to the restaurants in the mall area, you can do that. Go try local restaurants, which includes Buford Highway’s international cuisine.

    There is NO airport shuttle.

  • What about parking?
    Parking is free. There is no deck or valet.

  • Does the hotel have a pool and a workout room?
    Yes. There is an outdoor pool adjacent to the lounge and atrium.

    The workout suite is located at the end of a hall near several events rooms, so you can go from body magic to candle magic without skipping a beat.

  • Does the hotel have a restaurant?
    Yes. The DoubleTree has a single, moderate size restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is moderately priced. It also has a beautiful bar with food menu, and an atrium with couches where you can relax and eat. Of course, it also has room service.

    The hotel allows outside food in the rooms. You can shuttle to the nearby grocery store or Costco to buy food for your rooms. You can also use DoorDash, GrubHub, or UberEats to provide you with in room meals.

  • Are there refrigerators, coffee makers, microwaves, and pizza ovens in the rooms?
    There are refrigerators and coffee makers. Microwaves are standard in suites but must be requested for other rooms. Pizza ovens are not available. You will have to buy your own pre-cooked pizza.

  • Is the hotel ADA compliant?
    Of course! If you need an ADA compliant room or other similar accommodations, or anything that is not listed on the website reservation page, you will have to call the hotel directly. Remember to mention Mystic South to get your reduced rates. The hotel’s phone number is: +1-770-457-6363

  • What about wifi?
    Wifi is free in your rooms and in the conference spaces.

These are some of the common questions we are asked about our new space. We anticipate there will be more questions as we get closer to conference time, and will continue to update this FAQ with the questions and answers as they come in.

Nothing is more important for us than for everyone to be well-informed about the accommodations prior to check-in, so the Mystic South Conference experience is as comfortable as possible when you arrive in July.
