Whether you’re just learning about Mystic South or you’ve been attending since the beginning, we know you have questions. We’ll do our best to answer them! If you have a question that is not answered below, click here to send it to us.

What is Mystic South?

Mystic South is a Conference that focuses on mystical, magical, and spiritual practices of the South and beyond that are Pagan and Pagan-adjacent held in Atlanta, GA. We feature variety of presenters from around the world, and offer a dedicated academic track, in addition to workshops and musical entertainment.

When is Mystic South?

Mystic South 2024 will take place July 26-28, 2024. It begins Friday morning and runs through the afternoon on Sunday.

What is the closest airport?

Atlanta Hartsfield-Jacksonville Airport. We will have more information about traveling to/from the hotel in Spring, 2024.

Where is Mystic South being held? How can I book my hotel room? Are there reduced rates for attendees?

Our conference is being held at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia in Dunwoody, GA (the same hotel as Mystic South 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023). The Crowne Plaza Ravinia is located just north of I-285 across from Perimeter Mall. We will provide more information about hotel, food options, accessibility, travel and more in Spring, 2024.

When will you open applications for presentations?

Our presentation application period begins November 1, 2023. Watch our social media and sign up for our newsletter for more information on presenting.

NOTE: Vendors and presenters have special tickets and pricing accommodations. If you are intending to submit a presentation or vendor application, do not buy tickets until you have read the application information in full.

When will you open applications for vendors?

The Vendor application period begins January 1, 2024. Spaces are limited. Watch our social media and sign up for our newsletter for more information on presenting.

What are the hotel room rates?

The basic room with double occupancy is $142/night. All rooms will be booked directly through the hotel — either via phone with a code or through our hotel link on our website.

Suites and Junior Suites will also be available. Rates will be published at a later date. Please contact us directly if you need a suite or junior suite, as they cannot be booked through the hotel. Availability is limited.

Should you require an ADA compliant room, or have any other special need, please call the hotel and speak with hotel staff to book your room, letting them know when you make your reservation what accommodations you require.

Is there parking at the hotel?

Yes. There is a garage that accommodates average sized passenger vehicles. Self-parking is $8.00 a day for anyone registered as a Mystic South attendee.

I want to attend Mystic South! How do I register?

Registration for Mystic South 2024 opens October 1, 2023. You are able to pay conveniently and securely via PayPal.

Ticket Prices are as follows:
Full Conference (Early Bird): $135(October 1, 2023 – Feb 29, 2024)
Full Conference (Regular): $155 (March 1, 2024 – July 12, 2024)
Full Conference (at the door): $160
Day Tripper Tickets (at the door): $55/day

I don’t have a PayPal account — can I still register for Mystic South?

PayPal is our transaction processor, but you do not need a PayPal account to use it! Select “PayPal” during the registration process, and you will be brought to their login page to complete your transaction.

Below the PayPal login, you will see a button that reads “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”. Click this button and you will be able to complete your registration without creating/using a PayPal account using your preferred debit/credit card. Click here to see an example.

I submitted my registration and paid through PayPal but have not received my email confirmation from Mystic South. What do I do?

Don’t panic! If you received your receipt from PayPal, we have your registration. Our confirmation notice was probably filtered to your spam or junk folder. Please look through your emails for a message from If you do not have it (or it’s possibly already been deleted), let us know and we’ll be happy to verify your registration.

I’d like to attend, but funds are tight. Do you offer any way to defer my costs?

Yes! There are several ways to defer the costs of attending Mystic South. These Include:
— Offer a workshop or PAPERS presentation. Presenters receive one free admission.
— Volunteer. We have several tiers of volunteer opportunities that can help reduce or eliminate the cost of your attendance.

Do you accept on-site registration?

Yes! You can pay at the door using cash, PayPal, or credit card. We do not accept checks. Day passes and full-conference tickets will be available.

I registered but am unable to attend. When is the last date for refunds?

This is the schedule for refunds:
Up to 30 days ahead of the conference: 100% refund less processing fees
Within 29-14 days of the conference: 75% refund less processing fees
Within 14 days of the conference: 50% refund less processing fees

Where can I see what is and is not allowed at Mystic South Conference?

You can find our Code of Ethics by clicking this link. It includes our Code of Conduct, Statement on Consent Culture, Drug/Alcohol/Nudity policies, policy regarding children and young adults, and more. All registrants and attendees of MSC agree to these policies. Anyone found in violation of these policies will be subject to actions up to and including ejection from the event and banning from future participation.

Am I allowed to record the workshops/panels/presentations I attend?

Any/all audio and/or video recordings must be approved by the Mystic South Board prior to the event, and are on a class-by-class/panel-by-panel/workshop-by-workshop basis. The presenter and all attendees must be notified and approve of the recording prior to any recording being made.

This is to protect the integrity, privacy, and information being provided by our amazing presenters, as well as the privacy of our attendees.

I would like to bring my child with me. Is that possible?

We welcome anyone 18+ to attend our conference and all scheduled events.

Children 14-17 may attend workshops and PAPERS presentations when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Children under 14 are not permitted in the conference areas. Conference areas include workshop rooms, PAPERS hall, rituals, and any official Mystic South entertainment (including concerts, drumming, dances, karaoke, etc).

The vendor room is open to the public. Children of any age will be allowed into the vendor room only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Hotel policy forbids unaccompanied minors in public spaces.

If you have a child that requires supervision while you are attending our Conference, please be sure to make those arrangements prior to arrival. Neither Mystic South nor the Crowne Plaza Ravinia offer child care.

When will you be announcing the schedule of programming?

We will announce the schedule and programming by end of May, 2024. Please note that our schedule is subject to change. A finalized version of the schedule will be available at registration when you check in.

What health and safety precautions can we expect?

Masks will be optional in all conference spaces.
